Maxim Integrated Products功能完備的端口檢測器件符合USB電池充電規(guī)范,幾乎適用于任何類型的專有電源適配器。
Sunnyvale,CA。2012年2月13日。Maxim Integrated Products Inc. (NASDAQ:MXIM)于今日推出業(yè)內(nèi)尺寸最小、符合USB電池充電規(guī)范的USB電池充電檢測器MAX14578E/MAX14578AE。除了可以檢測Apple和Sony專有充電器適配器外,該系列器件還可以檢測USB標(biāo)準(zhǔn)下行端口(SDP)、USB充電下行端口(CDP)或?qū)S贸潆娖鞫丝?DCP)。一旦檢測到充電端口,MAX14578E/MAX14578AE將控制外部鋰離子(Li+)電池充電控制器,以優(yōu)化充電時(shí)間和充電效率。
MAX14578E/MAX14578AE支持各種類型的USB充電器,為用戶提供“完全通用”的充電支持,F(xiàn)在,制造商在交付設(shè)備時(shí)可以不提供電源適配器,由此簡化其生產(chǎn)供應(yīng)鏈、提高環(huán)保資質(zhì)。
“MAX14578E/MAX14578AE允許用戶利用各種電源進(jìn)行充電,”Maxim Integrated Products的產(chǎn)品線總監(jiān)Andrew Baker介紹道:“借助這種應(yīng)用靈活性,用戶無須為設(shè)備重復(fù)配備專用充電器。”
片上LDO提供5.3V輸出,用于USB收發(fā)器供電。此外,USB數(shù)據(jù)引腳具有高達(dá)±15kV (人體模式)和±8kV (IEC 61000-4-2接觸放電)的ESD保護(hù)。這些特性可大大降低功能密集的消費(fèi)類設(shè)備的系統(tǒng)復(fù)雜度、元件成本和電路板空間。
MAX14578E/MAX14578AE采用12焊球、0.4mm焊球間距、1.3mm x 1.68mm WLP封裝(針對空間受限應(yīng)用)和16引腳TQFN封裝(便于生產(chǎn))。器件工作于-40°C至+85°C擴(kuò)展級溫度范圍。
